Our Story
In March of 2022, I experienced the tragic loss of my oldest brother to suicide, which deeply impacted both my heart and my life. In the midst of grieving, I realized that I needed to fill the void with my two greatest passions: family and bringing joy to others. This realization came to me while visiting a Western store that I had cherished for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, my experience there was disheartening as I was not greeted and struggled to find clothing that suited me. The weight I had gained from depression and losing myself made it even more challenging. This moment served as a turning point for me. I was tired of feeling this way and was determined to ensure that other women, regardless of their size, did not feel worthless. It was then that I decided to cater to plus-size women in the Western fashion industry. I successfully created a line of jeans that received overwhelming support, which led me to expand my vision and serve the entire community. In March of 2023, I founded Double Bar S Western Wear with the goal of not only providing quality clothing but also raising awareness about the struggles faced by individuals and families. This endeavor is dedicated to the memory of my late brother, Benjamin Williams, as well as my youngest son Kaden's best friend, Shawn Colwell, who tragically lost his life in February of this year. The void left by their absence has touched the hearts of our community members. Double Bar S Western Wear is more than just a clothing store. It is a place where individuals can feel comfortable, happy, and supported. I am committed to creating an environment that promotes not only physical well-being but also mental health and overall happiness for all who visit my establishment.
